Mary's Healthcare System for Children is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V/SO Environmental Aide (Housekeeper) provides environmental services in the facility, including cleaning, laundry, window washing, waste disposal, and other services as needed to provide a clean, comfortable and safe environment of care.
Supports Facility's mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines, meeting facility standards, and obtaining appropriate certification.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Performs laundry and other environmental services such as vacuuming, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, scrubbing, sweeping, glass cleaning, collecting and depositing waste, etc.
according to established time frames, as required.
2.
Replenishes bathroom supplies such as towels, soap and toilet tissue and paper towel dispensers.
3.
Weighs and records laundry and other information as required to maintain Department statistics.
4.
Recognizes and reports changes in the residents' behavior promptly to the Supervisor.
5.
Uses cleaning equipment and chemical agents and supplies responsibly according to facility policy.
6.
Records time worked promptly and accurately according to facility policy.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE Formal education required:
High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.
Previous experience required:
Minimum of six months of experience in housecleaning or closely related area with demonstrated skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
